At Emi Conner Jewelry, custom design is a deeply personal experience. Whether you’re reimagining a family heirloom, designing a one-of-a-kind engagement ring, or creating a meaningful piece from scratch, we’re honored to bring your vision to life with intention, artistry, and exceptional craftsmanship.

Your Custom Design Journey

We guide you through every step of the process, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and care from start to finish.

INITIAL CONSULTATION

We begin with a one-on-one consultation to understand your ideas, inspiration, stone preferences, budget, and timeline. You may share photos, sketches, or simply a feeling you want the piece to evoke.

We work with clients remotely, please contact us via email: info@emiconner.com or contact form below to share your ideas, budget, and timeline.

Once we have a mutually agreed upon custom design, we will provide you with an estimate that is valid for 30 days from the date of the quote. After the 30-day time period, the estimate is subject to change.

DESIGN, CAD RENDERING AND RESIN MODEL

Once we finalize the concept, we create a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) rendering or hand sketch of your jewelry. This digital model allows you to visualize the piece before production.

You will receive detailed renderings for approval.
One complimentary design revision is included (additional revisions may incur fees).
Any major design changes after approval may require a new design fee.
Resin Model (Optional) For certain designs, a resin model can be created upon request before casting the final piece. This step allows you to see the scale and proportions in person before the final production.

PRODUCTION & CRAFTING

Once the design is approved, our expert jewelers begin handcrafting your piece. This process includes:

Metal casting and stone setting.
Hand-finishing and polishing.
Quality inspection to ensure perfection.

FINAL REVIEW & DELIVERY

Once completed, we will share final photos or videos of your piece before shipment. Your jewelry will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and insurance.

Final payment is required before shipping.

CUSTOM DESIGN POLICY

1. Custom Order Deposit & Payments

To begin the CAD design process, a $200–$500 non-refundable custom design deposit is required. This deposit may be applied toward the total cost of your ring, depending on the design. The remaining balance will be collected before production begins.
If a unique stone needs to be sourced, the customer is required to pay for the stone cost upfront to secure its availability before the CAD is finalized.

2. Design Revisions & Changes

Three complimentary revisions are included with the CAD rendering.
Additional modifications may incur a $50-$150 fee, depending on complexity.
Once production begins, no further changes can be made.

3. Production Timeline

Custom-designed pieces take 4-10 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the design and the number of revisions.
Rush orders may be available for an additional fee (please inquire).

4. Returns & Exchanges

Custom-designed pieces are final and non-refundable.
Due to their personalized nature, we cannot accept returns or exchanges unless there is a manufacturing defect.

5. Warranty & Repairs

We offer a lifetime craftsmanship warranty that covers manufacturing defects.
Repairs outside of the warranty period are available for a fee. Learn more about our warranty policy.

6. Resizing Policy

Most custom rings can be resized within ½ size up or 2 sizes down.
If a major size adjustment is needed, remanufacturing fees may apply.

7. Intellectual Property & Design Rights

Custom designs created by ECJ are exclusive to our brand. We reserve the right to showcase and replicate designs unless a design exclusivity agreement is arranged.
We cannot create exact replicas of copyrighted designs. However, we can craft inspired designs with a unique touch.
