At Emi Conner Jewelry, we proudly stand behind the craftsmanship of every piece we create. We offer a lifetime warranty on all solid gold and platinum jewelry against manufacturing defects, so you can feel confident in the quality and care behind your piece.As fine jewelry is meant to be worn and loved, it may naturally experience normal wear over time. While wear-and-tear issues are not covered under our lifetime warranty, we are always happy to assist with repairs at a reasonable service fee. Our goal is to help keep your jewelry beautiful and wearable for years to come.

Please note: Our lifetime warranty applies to solid gold and platinum jewelry only. Gold-plated and vermeil pieces are not covered.

Warranty Coverage

Covered Under Warranty
  • Defective prongs caused by a manufacturing issue that were not properly formed or secured at the time of production
  • Accent stones (melee) becoming loose or falling out as a result of a manufacturing defect within the first year of ownership
  • Structural defects in the setting or band
  • Soldering defects present at the time of production
  • Mounting or basket defects that compromise the security of the stone
  • Clasp or closure failure resulting from a craftsmanship issue
  • Design execution errors where the finished piece does not match the approved design specifications
Not Covered (wear & tear)
  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use, including surface scratches, thinning bands, or gradual prong wear
  • Damage caused by impact or pressure, such as bending, dents, or torn prongs
  • Rings that have warped due to spinning or rubbing against other rings
  • Rings that warp or wear unevenly due to spinning or rubbing against other rings
  • Lost or damaged center or focal stones, including diamonds and gemstones
  • Work performed by another jeweler
  • Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, cleaners, heat, or harsh conditions
  • Loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance of the jewelry or any part of it

How to Submit a Claim & Repairs

To submit a warranty claim or request a repair outside of warranty, please contact our customer service team and include photos of the issue. We will review the details and provide instructions for sending your piece to us for evaluation.

All warranty claims must include proof of purchase (receipt, original purchaser name or order number).

Processing Time: Most repairs and cleanings take 10–20 business days once received. Complex repairs may require additional time; we will notify you if so.

Warranty Evaluation & Shipping Responsibility

If your jewelry experiences an issue caused by a manufacturing defect, please contact us so our team can evaluate the piece.

U.S. customers:

  • A complimentary return shipping label is provided for warranty evaluations.
  • If the repair qualifies under our manufacturing defect warranty, we will cover return shipping back to you.
  • If the damage is determined to be normal wear and tear, customers are responsible for shipping costs both to and from our studio.
  • If an issue is determined not to be covered, we’ll provide a detailed quote before repair.
  • A payment link for shipping will be sent once the repair is completed.

International customers:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping their jewelry to our studio for all repairs and evaluations.
  • If the repair qualifies under our manufacturing defect warranty, we will cover return shipping and refund the shipping cost you initially paid.
  • If the damage is determined to be normal wear and tear, customers are responsible for shipping costs both to and from our studio.
  • If an issue is determined not to be covered, we’ll provide a detailed quote before repair.

Repairs Outside Warranty

If your jewelry shows damage that is not covered under warranty, we’re still happy to help, a service fee will apply based on:

  • Materials needed
  • Complexity of the repair
  • Labor time

  • We will assess the piece and provide a repair quote for approval before proceeding
  • No work will begin without your confirmation

Ship your jewelry well-packed and fully insured to our studio. Safe transit is essential for your fine jewelry's protection.

We inspect, repair, and clean your piece within 2–4 weeks. Once finished, we ship it back to you fully insured.

Gemstone Care Disclaimer

Certain gemstones (such as emeralds and opals) are naturally softer and more prone to wear. Chips, cracks, or color changes caused by wear or improper care are not considered defects.

Natural inclusions, color variations, and handcrafted details contribute to the uniqueness of each ECJ piece and are not considered flaws.

Warranty vs. Insurance

Our warranty covers craftsmanship and manufacturing defects — it is not insurance.

For protection against loss, theft, accidental damage, or center stone replacement we highly recommend insuring your jewelry through a third-party jewelry insurance provider.
